More recognition for Tropical Homes Real Estate.

After a reasonably satisfying result in the most recent Thailand Property Awards we are pleased to have recently been acknowledged by a number of overseas organisations.

Recognition in Russia and China has been one of our most noticeable achievements to date.  Tropical Homes Real Estate came Runner Up in the 2012 Best Agent Phuket category narrowly missing out to CBRE though it is questionable whether it is fair to have international brands up against more regional based agencies when the judging panel is based outside Phuket.  This is a view expressed by many of the panel themselves and it is likely we will see a fairer system adopted in the near future.  This isn’t the first time we have won awards, of course, we have been nominated for the Thailand Property Awards, the S.E. Asia Awards and the Asia Pacific Awards in most real estate related categories since we first opened our Phuket office in 2005.  In 2009 we won the highly commended Best Agent Thailand category  in the Thailand Property Awards.  This was a tremendous feat considering the strength of the opposition.  Since then the awards have been regionalised hence the Best Agent Phuket award.  This doesn’t make the category any easier however, with increasing numbers of internationally recognised brands entering the market, Jones Llang le Salle and Knight Frank to name a few, it means we independents have to work doubly hard to receive our recognition.  We do have a dedicated team of staff who perhaps offer the levels of service and loyalty that an international face cannot.  Great staff are hard to come by and we are able to recognise this and reward them in a manner which a larger brand would find impossible.

We work as a team in which every member of that team is known to his fellow member so there is no possibility of breakdown in communications.  We cannot state that things never go wrong;  we are, after all, only human, but on the rare occasions they do we endeavour to put them right again with the minimum amount of fuss.
